Ms. Tori Hart
Ms. Hart is one of the Assistant Principals at Lawrence Intermediate School. She brings a passion for student belonging, restorative practices, and cultivating an inclusive school environment. Before stepping into this role, Ms. Hart has served for 14 years as a teacher, House Leader, and trusted leader within Lawrence Township Public Schools. Her work has consistently focused on building meaningful relationships and fostering a school culture where every student feels safe, valued, and heard.
Ms. Hart has shared her dedication to restorative practices with the LIS community by designing professional learning opportunities for staff and extending those practices to students. She launched Circle Keepers, a student-led initiative that provides students with the tools and voice to support one another and strengthen relationships through restorative circles. Her commitment to connection also inspired her collaboration on school-wide events like Wellness Day and LIS Shines Day, both of which promote community building and a strong sense of belonging. These experiences have allowed students and staff to engage, explore their interests, and celebrate what it means to be part of the LIS family.
Ms. Hart genuinely values the relationships she’s built with the LIS team over the years. As she steps into this new role, she is proud to continue to work alongside colleagues who are so deeply committed to students and is excited to grow and lead within such a supportive and inspiring school community.
